I'm Helena. I'm a 35 year old mom to three beautiful babies. Pretty sure my 7 & 4 year old's might throw some sass my way if they knew that I called them a baby to the world, but nonetheless - my beautiful babes. I have 2 girls and one handsome little 1.5year old fella. My husband has been by my side for a glorious 16 years, married almost 10. My four year decided he loves me with and without makeup, which means it's true love. I love my family, Jesus, traveling, photography, pampering myself, Target, country music, reading, pizza, coffee, happy hour, and girls weekends.
Parenthood to me is exhausting. It's beautifully exhausting. I love the crap out of my kids - not literal, but close. They are the highlights of my day and start my conversations whenever I'm away. I love to escape motherhood whenever I get the chance. It's good for my kids, it's good for my husband, and it's good for me. Whether it's a date night out, a girls night in, a vacation away, or a spa day by myself - I come home a better mom. All the judgmental Janet's can shimmy themselves right on to another blog, but this is me and how I look at motherhood. I love enjoying a glass or four of wine without a child screaming 'MOMMY' in my face. I yell at my kids daily. I refuse to be okay with them growing up. I hug and kiss them in front of friends, and I enjoy my 10 minute car ride to my job in peace and quiet. I love my kids more than anything in this life. I'm a bad mom and I'll rock it the best I can. I enjoy being away from my kids, not daily, not weekly, but occasionally. Long story short - I'm a runaway mom AND my kids are my world - I'm truly blessed .

Hi, I’m Tressa (pronounced T-R-Eh-S-Ah); I get called Teresa All.The.Time. I was born and raised in Minnesota on a small farm. I have two older sisters who have given me three nieces and one nephew; whom I am very close to. After high school, I crossed the MN border and moved to WI for college and ended up living there for nine years. I met my husband in 2009 and have been married since 2013. We decided to move back to MN to be closer to family and to settle down to raise our own. We have an almost 4-year-old son, a 1-year-old daughter with a third on the way (due around the fourth of July!). After I had my daughter in 2018, I took a gigantic leap of faith and left my 10-year career with people whom I consider family, to become a stay-at-home-mommy. We enjoy making crafts, painting, making slime, coloring on the walls, baking cookies, having massive meltdowns when it’s close to naptime, dance parties, any anything to do with making messes and driving each other nuts.
I enjoy a good Gin+Tonic and binge watching anything on TLC and BRAVO. My bestie and I have a love for pizza, country music and Target and enjoy leaving our husbands with our crazy kids, so we can have girls’ nights every now and then…even if it’s just to Runaway to go grocery shopping at Target together.
